I. It feels as if your heart has been stepped on every time Queen Heng Yue walks.
There are many rumors surrounding Heng Yue, the medical officer of the Esper Union.
Some say that she was once a famous model, and can sometimes be seen near runway shows. Others say that her favorite patients are handsome men, and that she will sometimes show a trace of tenderness towards particularly good-looking people. As she walks up and down the corridors with that look of cold beauty on her face, it feels as though she is stepping on your heart with every step she takes. Indeed, her status as a queen is more than well-deserved. Though she is as cold and detached as she is beautiful, Heng Yue is nevertheless extremely popular within the Esper Union, and her medical skills are top-notch as well!.
II. Heng Yue's achievements are her own.
Whenever someone unwittingly tries to flatter Heng Yue by attributing her success to her family, she quietly adds them to her blacklist.
Though her family has indeed provided her with plentiful resources, Heng Yue believes that her excellence largely stems from her self-discipline and her pursuit of perfection. As a teenager, Heng Yue found work as a model and achieved financial independence from an early age. Even so, her studies did not falter as a result of her employment. After the arrival of the Miracles, Heng Yue chose to study pharmaceutical engineering in order to save the lives of the common folk. As a reward for her diligence, she obtained a doctorate degree and an expert position at a renowned pharmaceutical company. Her goal is to develop effective and low-cost drugs for all.
III. Granted, her being outstanding has nothing to do with her powers.
In the past, Heng Yue was reluctant to let her talents go to her family. Now, her divine powers have superseded her prior talents.
In the midst of disaster, people only see Heng Yue for her divine powers, and not for her commanding expertise, which often results in lower casualty rates. When she decided to settle down and focus on studying medicine, her work was constantly interrupted by those who hoped she would surpass the Espers. Eventually, even her parents began exploiting her divine powers for their own reputation and benefit. Just as she began taking great pains to deal with her situation, she encountered someone with a like-minded philosophy: Feng Nuxi.
